Why ProLegacy

Most agents leave a big brokerage for attention, and leave a small one for tools.

You should not have to choose. ProLegacy Realty is an independent New Jersey brokerage, small on purpose and staffed like it isn’t. There is no regional layer, no franchise handbook, and nobody between you and the broker-owner when you need an answer on a Sunday.

What is unusual for a firm this size is the bench behind the agents. A licensed transaction coordinator keeping every file moving. An ISA working your follow-up. A lead stack most boutique firms cannot afford and most franchises charge you for twice. The brokerage pays for the machine so you can spend your hours in front of people instead of in front of a spreadsheet.

The brokerage also carries membership in every MLS in New Jersey. A lead in a town you have never worked is a listing you can take, not a referral you have to give away, and it is not a second set of dues out of your own pocket either.

Most agents stop growing at the exact point where they personally run out of hours. The follow-up slips first, then the files eat the evenings, and the only way left to take on more business is to do all of it slightly worse. That ceiling is not about talent and no amount of working harder moves it.

What changes here is whose job those things are. The ISA works your database, the data manager keeps the lists loaded, the coordinator runs the files, the photographer shoots the listing and the brokerage buys the leads. What is left on your desk is the part that genuinely needs you in the room: the pricing conversation, the negotiation, the client. That is the whole argument for moving, and it is the only one that actually grows a business.

We are not trying to be the biggest firm in New Jersey. We are trying to be the one where an agent who wants to scale actually can.

The Leads

You should not be buying your own.

Lead generation is the brokerage’s job and the brokerage’s cost. These are the sources feeding the pipeline you would be working from.

Zillow

Premier Partner, and a Showcase partner

Buyer and seller leads from the platform that already has your market’s attention, handed out by the brokerage rather than bought by you. Zillow Showcase goes on listings where Zillow has it available, and the Zillow Pro membership behind all of it is set out below.

Portals

Realtor.com, UpNest and Movoto

The brokerage is a partner on all three. Realtor.com runs through Connections℠ Plus, and UpNest, which Realtor.com owns, puts you in front of sellers already comparing agents, where you answer with a proposal rather than a cold call. None of the flow rests on one platform’s pricing or one algorithm.

Paid

Meta ads through StreetText, and Google

Facebook and Instagram campaigns run on StreetText, plus pay per click on Google, all funded by the brokerage. Real estate advertising runs inside the platforms’ housing category, so audiences are built from location.

Database

25,000+ opted-in buyers

A house database built over years across the firm’s agents, not a purchased list. New listings go to it, and so do the people working it.

What Zillow Showcase is worth on a listing
+84%More page views
+77%More saves
+93%More shares
+$7,000Higher sale price, about 2%

Zillow’s own figures, measured against comparable nearby listings. Fewer than one listing in a hundred on Zillow carries Showcase, because Zillow limits how many agents can offer it in a market. Source: Zillow Showcase performance data, zillow.com/pro/showcase-facts, last updated 8 July 2026. Averages across many listings, not a guarantee of any result on a given home.

Zillow Pro Team

A Zillow Pro team, and the leads are already paid for.

Most agents buy their own Zillow leads, or they do not get any. Here the brokerage carries the Zillow Pro membership and hands the leads out. What that membership gives you is worth understanding, because it is not just a feed of strangers.

My Agent

The only agent they see

Your connected contacts browse Zillow in your area and see you, rather than three competitors bidding for the same impression. The relationship you already earned stays yours.

Likely To List

Sellers, before they call anyone

Zillow flags which of your contacts is behaving like a seller. You are reaching out first rather than finding out when the sign goes up in someone else’s yard.

Activity

What they search and save

Not only the leads Zillow sends you. Every connected contact in your database, what they are looking at, when they are active, and whether they have just started searching a new area.

One System

Built on Follow Up Boss

The same CRM the brokerage already gives you. The Zillow activity lands in the system you are working anyway, instead of in a second login you check on Thursdays.

What Zillow publishes about it
235MMonthly Zillow users
5.7xMore likely to transact, high intent buyer
+15%More transactions using My Agent
4xHigher reply rate, Smart Messages email

Zillow’s own published figures for Zillow Pro membership, reproduced here as Zillow states them. They are Zillow’s claims about Zillow’s product, not ProLegacy’s, and several carry footnotes on Zillow’s own page. Nothing here is a prediction of what any individual agent will produce.

The Stack

Paid for, set up, and already running.

Not a discount code and not a reimbursement. The tools below are provided, configured and in use across the firm on the day you start.

CRM

Follow Up Boss and Lofty

Both, provided. Your database, your pipeline and every conversation in one place instead of spread across a phone, an inbox and a notebook.

Automation

Smart Plans, and AI that sorts the list

Action plans that fire on their own so nothing sits untouched, and AI reading across every system the brokerage runs rather than one of them. What arrives is a ranked list of who to call and when, instead of four hundred contacts and a guess about which of them is warm today.

Dialing

A phone system that feeds the CRM

RingCentral is wired into the CRM, so every call, text and voicemail logs itself against the contact instead of living on your phone. CallTools handles the prospecting, three lines at once rather than one, and the lists come from DataSift, seller lists built for listing appointments rather than generic consumer data, so you are not assembling one before you can start. All of it syncs back, which is what the AI is reading when it tells you who to call next.

Your Brand

Your own site with IDX, and Homebot

A website in your name with live IDX feeds, and Homebot sending every past client a monthly home value and equity report with your face on it. The useful half is the other direction: it tells you when one of them starts behaving like a seller, reading the report three times in a week or asking what their home would fetch. Repeat and referral business that works while you do.

And the unglamorous part. A real work email on the brokerage domain rather than the personal address you have been handing to clients, and Microsoft Teams across the firm, so coaching calls, documents, broker questions and the rest of the office live in one place instead of scattered across group texts.

The People Behind You

Software does not call anybody back.

The tools are the easy part. This is the part most brokerages this size do not have at all.

Your ISA

An ISA working your follow-up, and a data manager behind them

Not a shared pool. Your own ISA works your database and your follow-up, so the leads that need eleven touches get eleven rather than three. Behind them a brokerage data manager keeps the lists clean and loaded, which is the unglamorous job that decides whether an hour of dialing reaches people or dead numbers.

Coaching

Twice a week, every week

Two coaching calls a week, not a quarterly rally. Scripts, objections, pricing conversations and whatever is actually in front of you that week.

Files

A licensed transaction coordinator

Licensed, on staff, and running every file through dotloop full time. At most firms this size that job lands on whichever agent is already busiest, which is exactly when details start slipping.

Access

The broker-owner, in the building

Jamie answers the phone. So does Ryan. There is no regional director, no support ticket and no three day wait for a contract question that needs an answer this afternoon.

And your safety. Every agent here has FOREWARN. From an incoming phone number it verifies who the caller actually is, along with criminal history, property and vehicle ownership, and financial records such as bankruptcies, liens and judgments. FOREWARN states it positively identifies more than 80% of prospects. Nobody at this firm is expected to walk into an empty house with someone they know nothing about, and if you would rather not go alone, you say so and somebody goes with you.

And the part you would normally pay for yourself. Every listing you take gets a professional photographer and videographer, booked and paid for by the brokerage. At most firms that is several hundred dollars a listing out of your own commission, or it is you and a phone in a hallway hoping the light holds.

Who You Would Be Working With

Two people run this firm, and both of them still sell.

Jamie Kline, Broker / Owner. Born and raised in Monmouth County and a graduate of Monmouth University. Jamie runs the brokerage and still carries her own clients, which means the person setting policy is the person living with it. License 1647030.

Ryan Destler, Broker-Salesperson and Co-Founder. A residential marketing specialist working across New Jersey. The last five homes Ryan listed closed an average of $43,060 above asking, most under contract inside two weeks. He built the VIP Listing Program the firm’s sellers get, and he will hand you the same playbook. License 2077667.

Between them, five consecutive New Jersey Circle of Excellence Awards from 2021 through 2025 and more than 100 combined five-star reviews on Zillow and Google. Neither of them is a manager who stopped selling five years ago and now teaches from memory.

What You Would Be Selling With

You would not be inventing a listing presentation.

Every listing the firm takes runs on the VIP Listing Program, and it is already built. Zillow Showcase and premium placement. Professional media, meaning photography, graphic design, drone, video and 3D tours, produced rather than snapped. Targeted digital advertising that creates demand instead of visibility. A structured launch, and a price set from four separate reads on the market rather than one.

You are handed the whole apparatus on day one instead of assembling it listing by listing, and the seller sitting across from you has usually already read it. It is public. The firm argues its case on its own site rather than only in the room, which is also the reason a ProLegacy listing appointment tends to be shorter than the one you are running now.

Go and read it before you talk to us. It is the same program you would be presenting, and if you think it is thin, that is a useful thing to tell us in the first conversation rather than the third month.

Before You Call

The questions every agent asks.

Do I need to be licensed already?

Yes. This is a role for agents who already hold a New Jersey real estate license, or who have passed the exam and are ready to place it. If you are still in pre-licensing, call anyway and we will tell you honestly when to come back.

How many leads will I get?

We will not put a number on it here, because the honest answer depends on the sources performing that month and on what you do with the ones you are given. What we will do is show you the actual flow and how it is distributed when we talk. Any brokerage that promises you a lead count in a recruiting advert is guessing.

What does the stack cost me?

The CRM, the dialer, the Smart Plans, the IDX website, Homebot and the advertising are the brokerage’s cost, not yours. Commission structure is a conversation, not a web page, and it depends on what you bring and what you need. We will tell you our numbers in the first meeting rather than after you have signed something.

Is this an employee position?

No. Like virtually all New Jersey real estate licensees, agents here affiliate with the brokerage as independent contractors. You run your own business; the brokerage supplies the leads, the systems, the supervision and the support behind it.

I am producing well already. Why would I move?

Usually for one of two reasons. Either you are buying your own leads and paying for your own tools on top of a split, or you have hit the ceiling of what you can personally do in a week and need an ISA and a coordinator to go further. If neither is true, you probably should not move, and we will say so.

Will this stay confidential?

Completely. Conversations with us do not get mentioned to anyone, including your current broker. Most of the people we talk to are at firms they have no intention of leaving until the maths is clear.

Confidential

Tell us where you are, and we will tell you straight.

No pressure, no group presentation, and no follow-up campaign if you say it is not for you. One conversation with Jamie or Ryan.

PDF or Word. Optional, but it saves us both a conversation.
Goes to Jamie and Ryan only. ProLegacy Realty, LLC is an equal opportunity firm and considers all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status.
